Well I guess I should pipe up as I sell clusters for a Living.

Sbastien is correct that there are linux packages designed for building
beowulf clusters. Now they may be easy to install but they won't be the
most current software available. I know that SCYLD will let you demo
their older version for free but to be frank their newest version is
fully of 2 year old software most of which is open source.

Oscar is a fair package of Beowulf software but we still found it
lacking.

Now for our benefit the easier we make the install for the end user who
doesn't necessarily understand Linux that well the better. As such we
developed our own Linux Cluster Distribution which will install on top
of a Red Hat 7.3 install.

I understand we will be doing some beta testing of this software so if
someone is interested I could probably get you on our beta list. The
Beta will be mostly to test our install and gui management tools as the
current versions of Bproc, MPICH, etc are fairly stable already.

In fact, Universities of Western Ontario, Toronto and PEI are using our
software on clusters we have built. Though they do have an earlier
version which doesn't have all the gui management tools included yet.
