In your /etc/sendmail.cf file (may be located some where else) you should look 
for the line that says 
# who I masquerade as (null for no masquerading)

Set that to be
DMacademic-computers.com

and restart sendmail. That should fix you up. If not then please post again.

To configure sendmail I recommend the linuxconf program maillconf or better  
still WebMin http://www.webmin.com/ It is a great program for administration 
of most Linux software and makes configuration very easy.
