Check places like www.hotscripts.com or php.resourceindex.com, there's alot of free scripts on there that may fit your needs. zend.com also has a good script library. I've never used one, but I would look there for anything of the sort. I suppose it depends on which platform you want to run it on i.e PHP or Perl, etc.

Can anyone recomend a GNU licensed web site portal package? I need to setup a site for an open source project that will be hosted an managed by someone else.
I would like the package to have easy setup, nice themes, user accounts, database driven.
I am thinking about the slashdot package, it is good. Can I get some recomendations for others and why you would use it over slashdot.
