Does the task scheduler give you the option to browse for an executable to
run?  If it does Microsoft provides a shutdown executable that you can use
for this.  I know it comes with XP by default but I don't think it comes
with 2k.  Maybe look in the resource kit for 2k or try downloading it from
somewhere.
