Actually Johnny, quite a few of us know about the movie. We have already
been in contact with the Director of the film and the Distributor. The do
have the movie available in VHS format at a rather steep price of $150. At
the last point in which I contacted them they did not have it available on
DVD yet.

There was discussion of CLUG purchasing a copy. The issue stagnated and is
in Limbo. We had hoped to get the movie for the last Convergence Trade Show
but it was not available in anything but 35mm. Perhaps we might be able to
get for Convergence 2003 on a DVD.

In case anyone one has not seen "Revolution OS", it is being played in
Edmonton this weekend. If you have not seen this, it is HIGHLY recomended as
a history of the GNU/Open Source/Linux development and the key players,
Stallman, Perens, Raymond, Torvalds etc.

December 20-22, 2002.....Metro Cinema in Edmonton, Alberta
http://www.revolution-os.com/screenings.html

I taped it last night from the Documentary Channel and have asked for
permission for the CLUG to play it at an upcoming meeting. If the CLUG is
interested, please let me know and I will make it available....assuming I
obtain permission. Tape/DVD's will be available for purchase next year
sometime.

Cheers
