Show of hands... Anyone interested in attending/organizing another Installfest to be held at Nexus Bookstore in February?
I have already spoken to Kevin and he is keen to have us back there. For those playing at home, we held our last Installfest there and it was a huge success for both Nexus and Us. Nexus Bookstore has been a longtime supporter of the Calgary Linux Users Group and this is one of those win-win situations for both our organizations. We need to hash out the details but as it was last time it would be held on a Saturday. Now Valentine's Day is on a Friday so there doesn't appear to be any conflicting holidays in February. Kevin will be getting back to us with some potential dates. I would love to go over an IPCop install with anyone who is interested. Beyond that it would be up to those that attends and those that lend a hand. We will discuss this at the meeting on Wednesday and I can start taking some names.
