yes.

install and configure lilo or grub to do your booting for you. your distro
should provide tools for doing this.

from a console:
su -c 'rm /etc/sysconfig/rhn/systemid'
this will run the rm command as root, once you provide the password to su when
it prompts you for it.
or just su to root (su -) and perform the rm command directly
