I remember a similar thread on the list awhile ago about Acce$$ comperable
datbase projects.  I will try and find the link and will post again.  If
anyone else knopws it feel free!

But I would to disagree that Acce$$ and the StarOffice database's are
incompatible.  I have specsheet on 6.0 that talks about compatibility.  WIll
try and find it.  I also have copies of older version if anyone wants
them...for both windows and linux.

Here's an interesting project I ran across. It allows you to access your
Access databases under Linux. Man I wish I had a tool like this when I
actually had a need to use access databases under Linux :-). Here's the
info from GNOME Developers News:
"There is a cool project out there called mdbtools which aims a creating
a set of tools for making the information in Access files available to
Unix users. Not only that they have a really cool GNOME 2 frontend in
