I am continuing to make progress towards the Open Source and Linux Seminar planned for
March-May of this year, for local businesses, government offices and educational
groups, as well as the general public. I am currently in communication with IBM, HP
and others regarding speakers, sponsorship and the use of loaned hardware to set up a
few hands-on demo stations.

I am hoping to eventually obtain a permanent location for regular seminars and
presentations to take place and continue to hope that the more outspoken and
experienced members of the CLUG will be interested in making presentations. Since many
of these presentations would be geared towards the corporate client, I am confident
that we should be able to pay speakers through corporate registration for these
seminars. With the exception of the first one planned for this Spring.

I have currently set up an Open Source (what else would I use right?) web based
Seminar tracking site and would like to know if I can list the CLUG meeting dates and
times. I will also be asking this same question to the LLUG and ELUG.

Comments, questions, suggestions, offers to help, loonies in the beer jar etc, as
allways, are welcomed and encouraged.
