Hello,
I have a good system that just needs a little more tweaking to be
great. I have one phone line with 2 phone numbers on it. The modem
using vgetty answers both lines and does separate things depending on
the line. The problem I have is that I would like to customize one of
them more then the other. For example in the mgetty.conf file I've had
to ask it to answer on the 5th ring (because on line 1 we want it to
ring 5 times before answering) yet on line 2 I would like it to answer
after the 3rd ring, and/or allow callback (meaning that I call once,
and then call back within a few minutes it'll answer but only for line
2).
Does anyone know how to do this? If I place the "rings 3" and "rings
5" in the vgetty.conf file in the respective ring type sections nothing
happens and it answers on the default of 3rd ring for both lines. I'd
like to change that. Any ideas / suggestions or clarifications are
welcome.
