Check you urpmi sources. Make sure there are not dual entries and that
all your sources are for 8.2 and some other version like 9.0 or Cooker.
Also, I don't have Mandrake on any of my machines anymore but I know
there is a command to rebuild your urpmi sources. At the very least you
can remove all your sources and then add them again. This will work like
an apt-get update. Check the man pages for urpmi, urpmi.removemedia, and
urpmi,addmedia for more info. My guess is that once all the sources are
updated your problems will go away. You may also want to try rebuilding
your rpm database in case that is the problem.
