to be fair, the ':' requires a shift press, so vim only wins 10 to 11.
but: do you hit a single key or a key combo faster? =) if you start measuring
things like key locality and movement coordination, vim really starts coming
out on top speedwise IME.
emacs is still better than most of the crap editors out there though =))
