There is only one trick to getting on NOW with SuSE and that is the same as 
Redhat.com and probably other up2daters.  Those are the only two I can speak 
of from experience.  You need to be registered.  I update usually 3 times a 
week minimum (usually all for not) and this has been this way for over 2 
years now.  Never did I not connect to SuSE immediately.  
I'm sorry to say I don't know if there is any other way to register except to 
have purchased a box set at one time and MAYBE to have installed it from the 
SuSE Network Install method.  I do know it has nothing to do with the product 
serial number AFTER the first registration process because I've upgraded 
without buying another boxed set.  Yet, I'm still registered.  So, just as 
the Redhat registered users take precendence over the non-paid but members 
nonetheless who again take precendence over the complete non-members. 
That's pretty much it.  : )  See if you can register.  And please pass it on.
