(clug-talk) [help] where can I find log info on system freezes?

Hi all,

Since I've upgraded my SuSE 8.1 to KDE 3.1 (using the --force flag I might 
add) I have been having a few odd system freezes.

Where in /var/log might I be able to find the kind of info I need to 
troubleshoot this?
