Hehe - First thing I usually do with my Slack install is fire up X. I futz around for about 15 min., not actually accomplishing anything, or blessed little if I do. It doesn't really matter which desktop environment or window manager. It's after that that I start throwing up Konsole or aterm sessions left and right, and suddenly, I start being a productive Linux user again... ;-) lol
