Agreed. On top of that, the statement appears to be a bit of a biting
comment at script kiddies, in particular referring to using the Mondo
software to backup the data which is of primary importance to script
kiddies: warez (illegal mp3s, movies, programs, etc.) (an
over-simplification, but my interpretation of the intent of the author).

It seems (to me, anyway) to be a bit tongue-in-cheek, as well.

Now my thoughts too... :-)

Curtis.

Unless I'm way off it would translate as "Elite warez crowd".

Script kiddies like to make themselves look good by using numbers as letters
(3 is read as a backwards E, the number 1 as an L, etc..). But of course, a
script kiddie is someone who uses another persons tool, and doesn't
understand how the tool works in the first place. The true hackeer is the
person who writes the tool in the first place... (my thoughts)...

Hi Guys,
I was reading some documentation about mondo rescue and found this line:
"Mondo is aimed at skilled users, not the 3l33T3 war3z crowd. (1f U
sp3ll l1k3 th1s, gu3ss wh1ch U R)."

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what it means?
