Well...my thinking was that we sell StarOffice and OpenOffice.org and mandrake so why not show something off. We did have Monsters Inc. playing one time so maybe I could look at playing that. Department boss knows nothing about Linux but a few guys around know a bit about it. Asked a manager if I could load Mandrake on one of the old systems that no one seems to want. He said ask dept guy.
I am hoping the CD version goes well and that I will have the chance to do the full install. Wouldn't that be something if Staples starting selling Linux-based machines huh? Considering they are a complete and total MS shop...even their new till system is NT 4 based. Ick! BTW...what does IIRC mean? What are their primary uses for a computer? Show off the stuff that they will be interested in. It is however English only this makes it easier when doing HDD installs. Tricks: When the clug bootsplash appears press F2 and invoke Knoppix cheats.
