I am trying to learn about PXE today and seem to be getting close as a client gets an IP and seems to get the pxelinux.0 file, but thats as far as it gets and the client seems to fail with a "Cannot find PXE_BOOT_ITEM" right after "Intel Linux DBP" I have been reading docs and help files all day and everything "seems" to be configured correct but no cigar?

Odd that you mention this today 'cause I tried to install RH8.1 beta3 using this last week (people were hogging the CD burners so...). I had to do some straceing and packet sniffing, but you might want to try having a pxelinux.1 file present containing your kernel and a pxelinux.2 if you happen to have an initrd image.

Worse comes to worst, putting your NIC on promiscuous mode might help.
