The memory check during the POST is almost close to useless, although it does tell you how much memory you have installed :) Even if you have bad RAM it will almost always pass. If you really want to give the RAM a good test try out Memtest86 (http://www.memtest86.com/). Memtest86 will give the system a much better memory test (RAM, internal CPU Cache, etc) Cheers, Trevor
