Notice has been sent to all Tier Two members with regards to the Annual General Meeting. Forgive us if you are receiving this notice more than once, there is currently no system in place to discern which Tier Two members are subscribed to this mailing list. We wanted to be sure to inform everyone of the pending meeting. We will be holding the first-ever CLUG Annual General Meeting on Wednesday March 5, 2003 at 7:00pm at SAIT, room H101 in the Senator Burns Building. At the conclusion of this meeting we will retire the current Executive Board members. The new Executive will assume their positions at this point. As it appears that we will be taking nominations right up to and at the AGM, we will not be having a ballot type vote but rather by a show of hands. The Tier Two members are the only ones that will be able to vote at this meeting so we urge you to be there this Wednesday. A vote may not be necessary if we do not have more than one candidate per position. The nominees would be elected to their respective positions by acclaimation. It is for this reason that we hope we have more nominees.With a group as small as ours we understand how difficult it is for people to commit the time. Brian Horncastle will also be doing a presentation on Wine. We will hopefully have a status report from the Convergence Committee. With the last InstallFest behind us, I know we have folks interested in another InstallFest in the near future. I believe we have a few members looking into this.
