Well. After getting my Cluggix CDROM last night I quickly tar'ed up my home directory, shipped it off to another machine. Then I popped the Cluggix CD into my trusty Dell Inspiron 7K and rebooted. Everything came up well and all my laptop hardware was happily detected. So I ran clughd-install (or whatever it was) and went to sleep. This morning I finished the install and voila. A mostly working Debian system running Kde3.1 in about 5min of actual work (Dan awesome Job!) Basically the only problems I had were setting up network interface, some issue with root partition not showing in df or mount, and the apt-cache limit needing to be cranked up. Here is my log of what I did to get my full running Cluggix workstation configurated with all the extra software I use. Everything seems good and I have all the software I use in no more than 30min of actual work. And on a laptop no less. Now this is the way to install Debian! Again. Awesome work Dan!!
