I've been lurking here a couple months, and I've come up with a question. I'm about to graduate from college and the idea of joining CIPS has come up. I'm in an accredited program (so I qualify) and the student rates are pretty reasonable.
My question is: is it worth joining? I mean, its all well and cool to be able to put some letters behind your name, but do (potential) employers and others in the industry actually look at something like this?
