Thanks for the input everybody. Yesterday I was offered a job on the help desk of the local hospital, so I don't see an advantage to joining CIPS right now. (they never mentioned CIPS at all in the interviewing process). Plus there isn't a local chapter here (Lethbridge).
I think that I will probably look at them again in the future though. I like to think that I do pretty good at the ethics stuff, and I can see mutual advantage for others to think this too. -- terence <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
