Thanks for the Link Graham. This is yet another reason why I have suggested we support J.T.S. Moore. He is on a one-man crusade. Not only is he releasing the DVD(s) without CSS but he's not having any regional setting on the DVD either. Wow!
As an aside... Damn, I have to buy this for myself! I want the extra stuff. Sigh, Oh well, I suppose I could always donate my HP copy to the Library once I got the 'Special Edition'... And to address Cade's response, I do believe that someone should be compensated for their work. I am just having a harder and harder time with the limitations imposed by big corps because they want to continue to profit long after the artist/programmer/what-have-you has done their bit. I believe that things should be made public-domain a lot sooner that they are now. If something is worth anything, the person or persons behind it get some recognition. I believe that fame gets you more than money in the long run. Coin of the realm is hard to pass up but I'd like to be remembered for doing something noteworthy than by how much I was worth financially. And yes, I realize I've simplified this argument. There are so many different directions one could go with it but I don't have the time for it and I don't think it's appropriate to this forum.
