I just picked up a Shuttle SN41G with the Nvidia GeForce 4 MX video chips set with dual VGA outs and S-Video and nView. One quick note, running an AMD 2400, 512mb DDR ram on dual DDR bus's, this thing is just way too cool. I have also seen a mod where someone put a small LCD on the front panel so it can either play a DVD, or monitor the system, while workin on your main monitor. Once I am finished learning how to configure this I will be offering them bundled with twin LCD's and a DVD/CD-RW combo, and a TV card as well and maybe hardware Mpeg. A nice packaged system. But I digress.
No problems getting dual monitors and nView to work under Win2k, but I have never setup dual displays under X and after some time googling for help I have not accomplished much. Does anyone have any experience setting up Nvidia nView with a GeForce 4 MX under Red Hat 8, using Nvidia's latest drivers? Apparently I can also get seperate x sessions which is what I want to accomplish. unfortunately I dont have matching monitors if that helps.
Open Enterprise Solutions Linux & Open Source Solutions for Business Johnny Stork, BA Calgary, AB Canada www.openenterprise.ca --------------------------------------------------- The Webtop Personal Web-based Email System http://www.yourwebtop.com
