29 people attended this evening's meeting despite the elements conspiring against us yet again. The Executive were there fully in attendance. We verified 23 active Tier Two members. The vote on the new proposed Bylaws was unanimous in acceptance of them. The group was also informed that the Government of Alberta's reviewer had looked over the proposed Bylaws and found them acceptable. Once the Executive meets and signs off on the Bylaws we will submit them to the Alberta Government where they should have a speedy course through the Government registry office. Thanks to all of you who attended this evening's meeting and casting your vote. We also had a presentation on VI(M) by Jason Louie. Jason did a fine job even though it was very last minute. Hopefully we will have Rob Lewko's Emacs presentation next month. I believe that Jason will be posting his presentation in various formats for anyone who wishes to download it. It was presented in OpenOffice's Impress (albeit from my slow laptop).
