It would be nice to write an > article 'KDE and Munich' and try to put it in a Bavarian paper (Sddeutsche > Zeitung or something more modest). Well, it's not 100% decided yet... final decision will be 28th of May, it's only that the leading party said, they want to vote for the Linux solution. The migration is planned to take several years and is done by IBM/SuSE, so yes, I am very sure it will be KDE, since I expect them to use the SuSE Enterprise Server + Clients as they are doing in Schwbisch Hall: http://www.suse.com/us/business/products/server/sles/index.html It's also already in German news including Sddeutsche: http://www.sueddeutsche.de/muenchen/artikel/17/12005/ http://www.spiegel.de/netzwelt/politik/0,1518,250422,00.html http://www.heise.de/newsticker/data/anw-26.05.03-004/ BTW, what about using SuSE's business references for interviews for enterprise.kde.org? ;-) http://www.suse.com/us/company/customer_references/index.html Greetings, eva _______________________________________________ This message is from the kde-promo mailing list.
