Gentoo completes it's install as a REALLY lean, barebones system.  If you
haven't install an MTA ot a POP/IMAP server, you won't have one.

It runs really fast, but if you want a feature/utility/package, you'll need
to add it on after the install completes.  This even includes something as
simple as vi.
