I was wondering if anyone can recommend some alternative/better MP3 encoders other than lame? I am just trying to save some time and not have to test them all and so maybe someone is already familiar with one which is better than lame? Following a reply by someone on this, or some other list, I realized that my bad MP3 sound is a result of using lame. The same song re-ripped with the Fraunhofer encoder in Music Match does sound better.
