Hello Brian, etal.

Sorry for sending this late. As promised, the hotkeys for KDE and Gnome
follow. I don't know how many other hotkeys there are but at least this
list is a healthy start. I think the hotkeys can change slighty between
distros and their versions. Another comment is that hotkeys are invaluable
in making a laptop faster to use and when your mouse isn't working.

KDE Hotkeys
ALT-Tab Task List Selection
Ctrl-Tab Desktop Selection
Ctrl-Esc KDE System Gaurd
Alt-F1 Start Menu
Alt-F2 Run Command
Alt-F5 Desktop Icon Arrangement
Ctrl-Alt-F1 Exit to command prompt
Ctrl-Alt-F7 or F8 Takes you back to KDE desktop from command prompt
Alt-underlined letter: Performs task associated to the window menu panel
Tab To move from button to button
Crtl-Alt-Backspace Resetting session

Gnome Hotkeys
ALT-Tab Task List Selection
Crtl-Alt-(F1-F12) Command prompt
Crtl-Alt-Backspace Resetting session
Crtl-C Exits to bash at init 2 or 1

Remember your hotkey suggestion.
If your mouse does work, but you can't use it to click on a hidden
button caused by a window that is too big to fit on the screen, press
Alt-(leftclick mouse) to hold on to the window/GUI and move it up.

Later Brian,

Peter
