Is there a program available out there that could preprocess GNU Makefiles? At the very least, it should be able to handle and preprocess the "include" directive to the lowest recursion.
Before some smart-aleck decides to reply with "GNU Make!", let me add that I'm trying to debug the rules from a certain group of makefiles. The includes in it are so convoluted, I can't make heads nor tails of it. So a makefile debugging tool or just a preprocessed output would do.
