IANAMG (I am not a Mail Guru), but it seems strange to me that on the
Comcast portion of the message your mailbox appears like so:

<robinsonkd @shaw.ca>

Note the space after the mailbox name.  This is consistent throughout the
Comcast portion of the message, but the Shaw portion correctly reports your
mailbox as being <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.

I wonder if that is just a message formatting thing, or whether the Comcast
server is really trying to look for <robinsonkd @shaw.ca>?  That would
almost certainly cause an undeliverable message.  If that is the case,
either your friend has the typo in his address book, or the server is
formatting the address incorrectly for an reason beyond my knowledge.  :-)

Mail gurus, please,

Can I get some help solving an e-mail delivery problem. A friend's
e-mail occasionally does not reach me and i can't see why. Their service
recently changed from attbi to comcast.net, so i thought the comcast
service was interpreting the sender as a spoof. But all attbi customers
are now with comcast i am told so that does not seem to be the issue.
