the place in question is a Sun shop. which is why there's all the mention 
about purchasing more Sun hardware in the story ;-) it's a thin-client set up 
running GNOME with bunches of Sun hardware behind the scenes. the fellow who 
landed the deal is a Sun rep with some pretty heavy backing from Sun on this 
one.
