I am thinking of getting into JSP. Tomcat looks great and should do all
the things I need.

Does any one have an good history with JSP vs. PHP vs Perl. I have done
a lot of work with Perl and some with PHP. I have worked with Java and
already know about the speed issues. One thing that I like about Java
over PHP and Perl is the structure. Perl and PHP have an any thing goes
attitude and so they some of the worst programming I have ever seen.
Some of it is my own.

How does Tomcat perform for speed?
Are there things that JSP makes harder/easier to do?
Does Tomcat support virtual hosting?
