Graham, I'd be wary of ANY notebook that comes with a 3 month warranty. Notebook repairs/parts are, compared to PC's expensive and I have resolved NEVER to sell used notebooks other than ones that I personally own.
I went this route for a customer once and when the notebook mainboard fried after 45 days I was faced with the option of refunding the customers $$$ or reminding him that the "warranty" had expired.. I chose to refund the money and eat the loss in the interest of good customer relations. He has since returned and I've recouped my losses but you have to sell a lot of product to recover a loss like that. I'll respond off list with some pricing ASAP.
