How is your email routed?  Do you send through you're ISP's email servers,
or do you have your own email servers?  Is the delay from your server, or
from somewhere else in the line between you and CLUG's server?

I'm trying to figure out if the ARP issues I've been having are related to
this.  My server will loose it's arp info for the connection to my firewall.
When this happens, it cannot send traffic beyond my network.  I proved to
myself last night that this does play a factor in the delivery of my email
messages - I'm just not sure how much of a factor.  I'll have to do some
more research/digging.  But if there is a delay problem with CLUG's mail
server, then we should probably get it looked at.  First though, we'd have
to identify that there is a problem...
