Hi:

I have been playing with Linux for a couple months now (RedHat)
- Had my first CLUG meeting last week :-) -

and now my 'knowledge' is tested at work :-(
(Sys-Admin moved to Ontario - no money for replacement blah-blah-blah)

One of the boxes is running RH 7 kernel 2.4.18-24.7.x

After a move to a colocation one of the NICs is doing difficult.

In netconf (Gnome) the 2 NIC's show up twice: once with the internal ip once with the external ip,
Also the domain/hostname is mixed up.

Trying to correct those configurations doesn't seem to work , save and service reload goes fine but when I reopen netconf I get back my old settings...
(yes I have root)

Any ideas on how to blow away these settings?
(some /etc/network file(s)?)

Thanks in advance

Peter
