I'm trying to signup on the mailing list for AMaViS (Antivirus/spam for
email). My confirmation message is getting bounced by a sourceforge address
because my IP address is on a Dial Up Line RBL somewhere. I don't
personally send spam, and my email server does not relay from unauthorized
sources. Why would my IP be blocked simply because I connect through an
ISP? More to the point, how do I get around this and get the support I
need? (a little frustrated right now....)

I understand the reason for the RBL's, but to just arbitrarily block IP
addresses because some ISP hands it out via DHCP is useless. This means
that legitimate, non-spamming emails/people are being blocked...

Any suggestions?

(sorry for the rant).

Shawn
