HI Jeff, I am rebuilding a dedicated Linucx box and would REALLY love that 8 GB. The 6.4 I have on it have calvedcompltely. The 2 GB would be nice as well. The rest of the stuff I seem to have lots of...and should probably get rid of myself.
Let me know if either are still available. I am out of town with work right now, but will be checking e-mail as regularly as I can. Any sort of bribes I can offer to make sure I get that 8GB drive? ;-) Cameron Also...whoever was mentioing monitors. I have some old VGA montors floating around. I don't mind parting with a couple for charity purposes. They would also be good for troubleshooting and stuff as well. Let me know via private e-mail if you can use thm. ----- Original Message ----- From: Mel Walters <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Monday, September 29, 2003 10:10 am Subject: Re: (clug-talk) OT: Assorted Parts > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA1 > > Thanks Jeffrey, > > Yes, I would definitely have a look and take some of it off your > hands.Never know when I will need another drive to build a small > server or simple > work station. > > Mel > > On Monday 29 September 2003 10:47 am, Jeffrey Clement wrote: > > Hi all, > > > > I've got two boxes full of assorted computer stuff like: > > - power cables > > - some cat5 cables > > - printer cables > > - mice and keyboards (one ps/2 and one DIN6?) > > - ISA network cards > > - 14.4k external fax modems > > - joysticks > > - ISA sound cards / video cards > > - Harddrives (200M, 400M, 1G, 2G, 8G) > > - zip disks > > - a working ditto tape drive with 2 tapes (1GB capacity each) - > doesn't> really work well with Linux or didn't last time I checked. > > - And other stuff I've forgotten about. > > - Assorted memory from older machines > > > > I just don't have room for all this stuff so next stop for it is the > > dump.
