Hey All,

This issue has been raised a few times recently so I will add my two cents.
The SAIT parking structure (right off 16 Avenue East of 14 Street) is a good
bet. Yes, they raised the price to $4.50 but it's still peanuts for peace of
mind. The way I look at it, it's (relatively) close to the Senator Burns
building and currently we are not charged anything for the use of their
rooms, so why not pay the nominal fee. I understand many of our members are
thrifty and want to save a buck or $4.50... <grin>

Hell, sometimes in the past I have mentioned I am going to a meeting and they
wave you through. I wouldn't necessarily make a habit of it but the option is
there. Yes, carpooling is a better way to go then you can subsidize the
parking fee. Kari, Marcel and I come to meetings together and Marcel is
constantly chipping in.

Food for thought. I'd hate to see people ticketed or towed because they wanted
to save a few bucks.
