Hiya, How does one test the transfer speed of SCSI disks? With IDE disks we can use the hdparm program with the -t option. This doesn't work on SCSI of course, so what does work?
I just want to find out which disks are faster: i got five 9 GB SCSI disks here at home, and I got two in my colocated server. I suppose I could jot down the model numbers and do a Google search for performance results of them all, but there must be hdparm-type way of going about comparing SCSI drives. Anybody want to enlighten me?
