So has anyone tried the RPM installer on
Gentoo? How well does it work, and what disadvantages did you
experience? Does it totally screw up emerge if some RPMs are installed,
and some apps are emerged?
I have 2 closed source applications (Samsung
Contact in particular) that have RPM installs, and I'm wondering if they would
install for me. I'd appreciate any experience or advice people could
offer.
Thanks
Kev.
