hehehe... I was feeling adventurous and decided to use apt-get with my Redhat 7.3 system to upgrade my KDE from 3.1.3. So I attempted to install all the packages named kde* and somehow I messed up my KDE. Now when I log into KDE I get "Couldn't start kdeinit. Check your installation redhat." and once in all the text is gone. Upon further investigation I read that kdelibs should be upgraded so "apt-get install kdelibs" I went and I got the message "kdelibs: depends: libxslt (>=1.0.30) but 1.0.19-1is to be installed" Checking the rpms, I have libxslt 1.0.19-1 installed and it seems to be the most recent version I can find. Any ideas?
