I am not sure how to search for the rpm. Is that on the command line or is it a GUI application? I tried using Kfind, but no help.

Sorry for all the questions.

Indeed it is :)

There will be a rpm package called kernel-<version>.src.rpm that you need to install. I believe RH9 has a package utility with a search function that should help you find the right one.

As the name implies, it's simply the source code for your kernel. Many things need includes from it if they are being compiled in order to be compatible.

I followed all of the steps and it all worked up until the part where

How do I do that?

That depends -- what distro are you running?
