Just quickly looking at the headers of the multi-posted messages and there 
seems to be one thing in common:

This is a header from an original message to the mailing list:

If you follow the headers from the bottom up...the duplicates seem to be 
originating from the same location regardless of the origin of the original 
message. All of the duplicated messages that I have checked all have this 
same characteristic.
