Do you have the IP of the attacker? Are you running your own firewall? I am blocking an entire UK ISP from the attacks earlier this week. I would like to know the IP of your attacker so I can block their ISP also.
PHP-Nuke 6.0 was susceptible to numerous weak attacks by script kiddies. You should look for a root kit on your server. You maybe in for more problems if they installed a root kit.
I have created a block for ISP's that are hosting SPAMers and attackers. They get rerouted to a special static HTML page that tells them why they are blocked and how to contact me if they feel the block is in error. You may also want to do this.

Grrrrr. Ok. That got me motivated. We are now running 7.0 instead of the 6.0 that was preinstalled. Let me know if anyone notices any further problems. I don't really trust the upgrade scripts but they seem to have worked. Jeff On Fri, Feb 13, 2004 at 09:04:09AM -0700, Jason Van Dellen wrote: > It looks like clug.ca has been hacked.
