Hey Group,

As we mentioned several months back, the membership cards underwent a small
but significant change. There has been in inclusion of an expiry date. This
is mainly for our sponsors who offer discounts, who need to see your card as
proof of membership within the group.

If you are an original (2002) Tier Two member or a member who joined anywhere
last year up to November, I believe your card may not have this expiry and
will (may) not be accepted. You have two choices:

You may wait till your renewal to get a new card (you will be emailed when you
are coming due)

or

You may request a new card and one will be printed for you.

If you are not sure when you are due for renewal you may look on your card and
the last two digits of the membership number indicate the month you signed
up. For the 2002 members, it may depend on when you renewed. ie 02-L009-02
would need to renew by the end of February.

The membership is an annual fee and is due at the end of the month of your
anniversary of signing up. We have given a grace period of a couple months in
some cases but beyond that your renewal will then be annually from when you
do actually renew. I would like to encourage everyone to renew the month they
are supposed to, otherwise it becomes something of an administrative pain. We
do have excellent records so hopefully there will not be any issues. And I
fully understand that there are months for some people where that extra $20
doesn't fit the budget.

You may renew early, that's entirely up to you and we can keep your renewal as
is. So for example If I am due to renew in January and I pay in November, I
am still set to renew by January 2 calendar years next. Make sense? The
executive has also toyed with the idea of allowing members to pay for
multiple years in advance to make it easier.

On a side note, if you have moved or changed any of your personal information
please forward that to the Secretary: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Thanks!
