I've only played with YDL and Mandrake on my iBook so far. It's
running
OS X right now though, only because I'm a little attached to a few
apps. I also have a Quadra 610 (not stock) which I'm hoping to have
running *nix by the end of April, May or June. That's depending on how
fast I can process 4 years of number piles (they're not mine).
Well let me know how any future gentoo experiments go.
I'll try to remember. I still have to get into those accounting apps...
BTW if you don't mind me asking, what apps. are you trying to break
free from?
Oh, just everything... I've been using OS X since before 10.0 was
publicly released and did a bit of the earlier bug documentation. For
the past 2 years or so I've been sticking to newbie support-type stuff.
It's just a pile of sentimental crap. :-)
