Just wondering if anyone can help me troubleshoot my signing/encryption setup
in KMail 1.6.1 (KDE 3.2.1).

I've got all the standard KMail options configured properly (Settings =>
Configure KMail => Security => OpenPGP tab, and Identities => Modify button
=> Advanced tab). But KMail keeps saying the passphrase is wrong.

I figure it's one of two things:

1) My passphrase contains plenty of extended ASCII characters (~, |, <, etc.)
and is quite long (over 100 characters). Could be related to the passphrase.

2) Or else I still need to do all this stuff:
http://kmail.kde.org/kmail-pgpmime-howto.html. I wouldn't think so, since
it's been a long time since KDE 3.1 and the current Help documentation didn't
mention it at all.

If it is my passphrase, do I need to change it or can I use a different input
method (pinentry, etc.)?

I just wondered if anybody knew off-hand, before I went diving into the
PGP/MIME HOWTO.

Thanks!

Curtis
