Good catch!  I never even thought of crypto (I assumed 40-bit would work by 
default).  For the record, here is the cipher that webmail.shaw.ca uses:

Crypto => SSL tab => SSLv2 Ciphers to Use column

EXP-RC4-MD5 (40 of 128 bits)
